The new HR-V offers improved performance, top of the line amenities and versatile interior space. 2017 HR-V Efficiency Features

For 2016 the Honda HR-V was voted the 2016 Green SUV of the Year and for the new model year, the crossover is still worthy of the name. The 2017 HR-V features a highly efficient powertrain comprised of a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC® engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or continuously variable transmission.

2017 HR-V models fit with the standard 6-speed manual transmission can get an estimated fuel economy of [1]25 miles per gallon in the city, 33 on the highway and a combined rating of 28 mpg. Opting for the continuously variable transmission, drivers get a [1]28 city, 34 highway and 31 combined mpg. The 2017 HR-V also has an all-wheel drive option for the continuously variable transmission that achieves an estimated fuel economy of 27 mpg in the city, 31 on the highway and 29 mpg combined average.

2017 HR-V Interior Features

The coupe-like design of the 2017 HR-V does anything but limit the flexibility of the crossover. To provide drivers with the maximum amount of space, the Honda features a center-mounted fuel tank to allow for the second-row [2]Honda Magic Seat to fold flat into the floor.
