The 2017 Pilot has a ton of great features to offer drivers, especially drivers in the Chicago area. With winter just around the corner, the Pilot’s available all-wheel-drive is ideal for taking on the snow. For those frigid months, the 2017 Pilot even offers heated seats and a heated steering wheel. But, the latest amenity added to Honda may be the best yet, the 2017 Pilot offers drivers the ability to utilize their smartphone applications through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
Which 2017 Pilot models will have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
The 2017 Honda Pilot is available in five trim levels, the LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Elite. Drivers looking to have access to the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems must purchase or lease an EX trim or above. With the upgrade however, drivers also get a number of other great features too. The EX trim and up offers power lumbar support with the driver’s seat, HomeLink Remote system, heated side mirrors, smart entry and more.
More NEW Features of the 2017 Honda Pilot
Keeping your car clean always makes driving it just a little bit more enjoyable. With the 2017 Pilot, your dash will look cleaner longer with the SUV’s new fingerprint and glare resistant touchscreen. The 8-inch audio display is available on the Pilot EX trim and up, offering easy access to functions such as the new smartphone systems or turn by turn navigation through Honda’s Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Honda HD Digital Traffic.
Also new for 2017 are select aesthetic features of the Pilot. For the exterior, the White Diamond Pearl coat has an increased availability and for the interior, a black color scheme is extended to lower trims.
