2019 Honda Sensing Safety Features
The Honda Sensing® Safety Suite is a collection of safety technologies designed to cut down on driver reaction times and assist in avoiding accidents. Learn more about the features and technologies available with it, and the models that are available with the safety suite.
Collision Mitigation Braking System
The feature applies brakes when it senses a collision is unavoidable.
Road Departure Mitigation System
The vehicle will automatically adjust steering and braking if you cross detected lane lines without signaling.
Adaptive Cruise Control
Maintains a set distance and speed in relation to a sensed vehicle ahead of you.
Lane Keeping Assist System
Adjusts your steering to help keep the vehicle centered in a detected lane.
Traffic Sign Recognition
Uses a small camera to recognize traffic signs and notify the driver of posted speed limits.
Whenever you use your right turn signal, a camera on the coordinating passenger mirror will turn on and offer a live display on your center touchscreen.
Blind Spot Information System
If a vehicle is detected in an adjacent lane when your blinker is on, the indicator blinks and beeps until the area is cleared.
Cross Traffic Monitor
When backing out of a driveway or parking spot, the Cross-Traffic Monitor alerts drivers to a detected vehicle approaching from either side.
Auto High-Beam Headlights
While driving at night above 25 mph, the Auto High Beam Headlights can be used, which are able to intuitively change between low and high beams depending on lighting conditions.
