2016 Honda Accord EX vs 2016 Honda Accord EX-L

The 2016 Honda Accord EX and 2016 Honda Accord EX-L are both upgraded versions of the 2016 Honda Accord LX. These two vehicles that share the EX name share many of the same features. The EX-L, however, does offer some upgrades that might appeal to car buyers who hold a high regard for luxury features.

The 2016 Accord EX-L is one of two trims that has an option for the 278 hp V-6 engine. This is a significant bump up from the 185 hp engine offered on the EX, which also comes standard on the EX-L. Such a large increase in performance capability will be fully felt out on the road. Almost all of the differences between the 2016 Accord EX and EX-L, however, derive from the vehicles' interiors. One major distinguishing feature is the stereo system of each model. The 2016 Accord EX comes with a 160-Watt AM/FM/CD Audio System with 6 Speakers, while the 2016 Accord EX-L sports a 360-Watt AM/FM/CD Audio System with 7 Speakers, which includes a subwoofer. For drivers who like to crank up the music, the sound quality of the 2016 Accord EX-L's stereo system is actually significantly better than the one in the 2016 Accord EX.
